SYNOPSIS:

Trails is an artistic documentary film formed by a collaboration of recognized artists, researchers and institutions in Lebanon with a profound knowledge of Traditional, Modern, and Contemporary art. Screened in French and colloquial Arabic, the film invites its audience to immerse themselves within the different mediums, styles and interpretations of art. It also delves into the philosophical implications of the artists’ lives, their creative process and the unique techniques used to create their masterpieces that forms their legacy. The story forges a very real connection between the importance of choosing art as a medium to brave out universal revelations and the personal rooted identity found in art as a way of life, all while discussing the struggles and outcomes in relation to the modern world. ’Trails’ is a film that posits newly profound ideas on the importance of the role of the Artist to decide the future of their own culture and the world at large.
